FISD – AIESEC International Student Exchange Programme

January 31, 2014

A group of university students representing China, Ukraine and Bahrain are currently in Sri Lanka on a youth exchange programme through AIESEC, to observe and learn about alcohol and drug rehabilitation and prevention activities in the country. During their stay in Sri Lanka, the student representatives will receive basic awareness training under FISD’s Alcohol, Drugs, and Development programme and make field visits to some of FISD’s programme locations. The visit is a joint venture of Colombo Central, AIESEC’s committee in Sri Lanka based in the University of Colombo, and FISD. AIESEC, the world’s largest youth run organization is a global youth network impacting the world through leadership development experiences. Each year, AIESEC organizes exchange programmes for university students as a venture to create awareness on global issues among youth and to train youth to actively participate in addressing global issues.
